Tutorial - How to Convert PDF to JPG?

Introduction

Why convert a PDF document to a JPG image? PDF requires an external application like Adobe Acrobat Reader (or any other free variants) while JPG does not. Browsers have the built-in capability to display images while handling PDF documents requires an external application or plug-in which may or may not be present. An external application comes with the handicap of loading times. Plus the rendering of a PDF document happens only after the complete document is downloaded while images can be streamed in. Office applications also do a better job of handling images in comparison to PDF. So, in some specific cases converting your PDF documents to an image format like JPG (JPEG) could be the solution you are looking for. Step 1. Input PDF

Launch Advanced PDF Utilities Free and click "PDF to Image" tab. Click "Load" to choose the PDF file you want to convert and click "Open" to input it to the PDF to image converter window.

Step 2. Select Page Range, Output Format & Quality

To go to the previous page/next page, click "Previous"/"Next"; while "First"/"Last" to switch to the first/last page of the PDF file. When previewing, click "Set as From Page" or "Set as End Page" to set the range of conversion pages. Choosing the numbers in "From page"/"to" dropdown menus also works. Select the output format from "Format" which containing JPEG, PNG, BMP, GIF, etc. DPI is also optional (50/72/96/150/200/300/500/800).

Step 3. Start Conversion

When all the settings have been done, click "Convert PDF to Image" to choose the output folder. Click "OK" and the conversion will be finished in seconds.
